An entrepreneur within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) is a natural or legal person or a legal partnership who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity.
2. Subject of performance
The DHfPG provides all of the services described below exclusively on the basis of these general terms and conditions. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer will not become part of the contract even if DHfPG does not expressly contradict their validity.
The customer has the option of buying trade fair tickets and / or congress tickets via the online platform. 3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of the products and services in the DHfPG online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer of the DHfPG, but only a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the "Buy Now" button, a binding order is placed. The receipt of the order is confirmed together with the acceptance of the order immediately after sending it by an automated email from DHfPG. With this e-mail confirmation, the purchase contract is concluded. The participant will receive their ticket and the invoice by email to the email address they have provided.
The order is binding. Exchange and return of tickets for the FIBO trade fair or the FIBO CONGRESS are excluded. Cancellations by the buyer or by DHfPG cannot be made. This also applies to illness, not participation or other reasons.
Exhibitor, speaker and topic announcements are non-binding and can be changed at any time.
Pursuant to Section 312g (1) and (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code, the buyer has no statutory right of withdrawal, even if he orders tickets as a consumer rather than as an entrepreneur.
Admission tickets to the FIBO trade fair or FIBO CONGRESS are personal and generally not transferable.
The prices at the time of the order apply. All prices are in EUR and include VAT and sales tax.

6. Force majeure
If the Congress does not take place due to circumstances beyond the control of the DHfPG, such as force majeure and equivalent events, such as mourning for the state, weather, strike or war, or if it is postponed, the DHfPG is not responsible for any resulting losses or Blame for damage. In this case, the ticket will not be refunded.
7. Access control
With his confirmation of registration, the participant will receive a ticket (QR code) by email to the email address provided by him, which must be used to authenticate himself for the first time when entering the trade fair or congress. Since the tickets are personal, he can also be asked to identify himself with a valid official identification document. If the participant is granted admission, he will receive a non-transferable badge (eg a control bracelet) with which he can legitimize himself at any time during the congress. If this bracelet is lost, a new ticket must be purchased at the current price.
In order to ensure a safe and pleasant congress for all participants, the DHfPG reserves the right to refuse visitors if they appear aggressive, abusive or under the influence of intoxicants. Weapons or dangerous objects may not be brought into the event rooms.
8. Limitation of Liability
The DHfPG always endeavors to ensure that the website is available without interruptions and that the transmissions are error-free. However, this cannot be guaranteed at all times. Access to the online platform may also occasionally be interrupted or restricted to enable repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities. The DHfPG endeavors to limit the duration and frequency of this temporary interruption.
If, in the event of force majeure, the organizer of the congress or the trade fair is obliged to make changes to the implementation of the event or to cancel it due to official orders or for security reasons, the organizer is not liable to pay compensation to the participants. The organizer is not liable for any damage to property or property that is not caused by gross negligence; Excluded from this limitation of liability are damage that is based on the culpable breach of a main contractual obligation of the organizer. The amount of liability for personal injury caused by negligence but not by gross negligence is limited to the customary liability insurance maintained by the organizer. Except in the case of intent, the organizer is not liable for atypical and unforeseeable consequential damage. The above limitations of liability also extend to the personal liability for damages of employees, representatives, vicarious agents and third parties whom the organizer uses in connection with the implementation of the event or with whom he is contractually associated for this purpose. The organizer assumes no liability for items stored.
9. Photo and video recordings
Participants are not permitted to take photo, video or audio recordings during the congress.
The instructions of the organizational team must be followed at the congress. The house rules of the respective operator of the exhibition center where the DHfPG event takes place apply.

DHfPG provides the personal data collected and necessary when the contract is concluded, such as surname, first name, ticket ID, address and email address, to Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH, Völklinger Straße 4, 40219 Düsseldorf, Germany, for the fulfillment of a contractual relationship in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.
11. Online Dispute Resolution

The DHfPG is not willing to participate in dispute settlement procedures before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Place of performance, place of jurisdiction, applicable law
Verbal collateral agreements do not exist. Changes and additions to these terms and conditions must be made in writing to be effective. This also applies to changes, additions and the lifting of this written form clause itself.
Should individual provisions of these general terms and conditions be or become ineffective, this does not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions of these general terms and conditions.
